Our first kimchi class was such a hit, we are holding a second one! Make your own custom batch of Korean pickled veggies, as spicy as you want. And unlike traditional kimchi, you will NOT have to bury your jar in the (now-frozen) ground! Cost of the event is $30 per person. The event includes the following:
Taste-test several different kimchi variations.
Select your own custom mix of ingredients for your own batch. Be as traditional or creative as you like!
Receive step-by-step guidance during the workshop on putting your custom batch of kimchi together.
Receive detailed instructions and everything you will need to finish your kimchi at home.
Enjoy Calamari’s happy hour pricing until 7pm: $3 house wines, $2 and $3 drafts, $1 slider sandwiches, and $2 off all New Belgium products! The kitchen WILL be open during this event!
All ingredients and supplies for making your kimchi will be supplied at the workshop; HOWEVER, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you bring your own sharp kitchen knife for chopping your ingredients. Knives will be available, but due to the amount of chopping required it is recommended that you bring a good knife from home. Cutting boards and everything else will be provided.
